EZEKIEL 34

Woe to the shepherds,
Their failure is on record.
To let their flock become prey,
And be filled with spiritual decay.
Their wounds left unattended,
Was open for the underhanded.
The scattered were left out back.
For you said devotion they lacked.
A shepherd’s job is to search.
But you sat up on your perch.
And souls were starved of grace.
All to show off a holy face.
Behold the Lord sought me.
Behold what I have seen.
A shepherd cares for his sheep.
No matter how steep,
They have fallen to gloomy grounds.
The Lord sought and I was found.
Fed in green pastures,
And healed every fracture.
The scattered are delivered.
Saving the embittered.
Strengthening the sick,
And welding judgments stick.
The sheep rest on a hill of blessing.
Spiritual waters are refreshing.
Breaking the bars of their yoke.
Strengthened like the roots of the oak.
The sheep are the Lords,
They should not be ignored.
