So this is what it feels like to be alone.
r.D.JESS
To call for help but never hear the ringtone.
For the person who used to mourn when you mourned.
Tells you that they are happy while you feel torn.
When they rather their own plan,
Then to watch you be able to stand.
To feel stranded in the crashing sea,
Wondering if you will be able to breathe.
Then to have a ship pass you in the night.
Wondering why you feel like you are losing sight.
My body desperately wants to connect.
Was that really too much to expect?
I looked out into the sea and found a ship.
It was new compared to the other relationship.
But I chose to send out an S.O.S.
And was surprised they took me serious.
They stopped their course to rescue me.
From drowning in the bitter sea.
When my soul began to groan.
They picked up the phone.
Wrapped me in a warm blanket.
And used the rescue kit.
Reminded me off the truth I needed to hear.
Slowly I was able to cast off all my fear.
Because I found a true friend in the end.
Someone everyone should apprehend.
S.O.S AND RINTONES.
