A LITTLE BIT OF A RISK

A little better than yesterday,
Is necessary for a better day.
A little bit of a risk is what it takes,
To finally cause change to take.
A little bit of wisdom goes a long way.
It moves like a ship on the waves.
A little bit of faith in your savior.
Moves mountains with splendor.
A little bit goes a long way.
A little bit can make a better day.
A little bit of a risk is worth the cost.
Without it, complacency causes loss.
Reach for the stars, it’s okay if you fall.
For it is better than doing nothing at all.
We can’t wait for a magic star.
Or a message from a far.
Time is ticking during our best hours.
Yet we fill it with picking flowers.
If we want change we must move.
That’s the only way we can improve.
Sometimes we must change direction.
Sometimes we can’t wait for perfection.
For just as soon as it’s perfect,
Something else can defect it.
Sometimes we need to take a leap.
In order for us to keep what we reap.
A little bit of a risk today,
Can cause a better way.
