Cower Child

I felt fear tingle through my bones.

Cower child, in the corner alone.

Let tears only fall without eyes to see.

For vengeance burns red eyed deeds.

Cower child, to were your safe from harm.

For humanity seeks violence in it’s arm.

No, peace never stays.

You will always see man’s rage.

The sudden switch is always scary.

Especially when it was just marry.

Cower child, cling tight to your arms,

hide until your safe from harm.

I am a lover of writings and over the years I have collected a handful of poems and stories I have written. The more I wrote the more I realized I should do something with it, besides putting it in a box.
