Christmas Cry

Christmas makes me want to cry, I don’t know why but this comes from deep inside. A little bit of hope and a little bit of sorrow. Giving me a gift I can only hope to borrow. Giving peace to those in self made chaos. We fell to our own cause. One of complacent desperation, you where our only hope of salvation. Humble you came, even though we were the ones to blame. Holy a word no longer thought of as Christmas, can we keep Christ in Christmas? That being said is Christmas, Christmas with out Christ? Think we all know that deep inside. With out Christ it would just be mas, or should we call it a mess. This celebration was to celebrate our salvation from our damnation. I know that’s a mouthful and a bit colorful. But I think we forget about the reason for this season. Why do we sing Joy to the world? Because our savior came down to save us all. We celebrate a promise fulfilled, shouldn’t we be thrilled. Let us be changed by this holy night. By the babe who broke through the silent nights. Maybe this is why I want to cry, I see why He came to die. Leaving hope deep inside, even though I don’t see how we are worth the price.

I am a lover of writings and over the years I have collected a handful of poems and stories I have written. The more I wrote the more I realized I should do something with it, besides putting it in a box.
