Tomorrow you fight(Short poem)

My heart morns sin, brimming from fear of man.
I feel the deep ache, as we cover our face.
Compassion has left our hands. Filled with selfish plans.
Look to the east, and eat the feast.
For tomorrow you fight, with all of your might.

Hi, I am R.D. Jess. I am a christian writer and postpartum doula. My relationship with my God is not a religion but a state of who I am. I love being there for others and find that writing the hard truth is the best way to make people feel less alone.
