Gratitude’s attitude

Gratitude I had an attitude

Thankfulness I was ungrateful for this

My appreciation turned to hatred ,I recognize it’s greatness

How could I be such a mess, my respect wasn’t checked

I realized I use to be more than this, maybe it’s selfishness

Why is it hard to fight this, it’s dissonance isn’t innocent

Gratitude changes your attitude

It changes darkness into joyfulness, how precious is this

The simple becomes delightful, I want to be more grateful

I see a new world, I am no longer living in a underworld

The simple-ness is better than our mess

Realizing the little things, I am blessed more with this

It’s Gratitude’s attitude

Wrapped up in the grandeur, waving it like a banner

only to be held in it’s magnificence, becoming more significant

Swept away by it’s thoughtfulness, completed by it’s radiance.
